Mastery

Not a course: there is nothing to practise here. Mastery is one 3-minute test against a standard, and a certificate for each tier you reach.

Take the 3-minute assessment

Sign in first: certificates are issued to your account.

The tiers

Bronze

40 wpm

3 minutes at 97 % accuracy or better

Silver

60 wpm

3 minutes at 97 % accuracy or better

Gold

80 wpm

3 minutes at 97 % accuracy or better

How it works

  1. Start the test from this page. It is the ordinary 3-minute speed test, marked as your assessment.
  2. Type for 3 minutes. Speed counts only at 97 % accuracy or better.
  3. Every tier your speed reaches is certified once, the moment the result is saved. Lower tiers come with it.
  4. Each certificate has a public page with a verification code you can send to anyone.

Not ready yet? The learning path builds the speed: Basic, Full Keyboard, then Speed Building.
